FFS Wednesday, from MKD to Wycombe in a week but is anyone surprised?

Recommended Posts

I live in Exeter, my son in Cardiff, we didn’t get to MKD but watched a brilliant first half an hour against MKD on tv. Buzzing all week, although Crewe was a tricky watch at times. Went yesterday in the home end and had to sit on our hands due to some very excitable stewarding.

But yesterday was so Wednesday! I thought we were ok first half and had a good goal disallowed but second half we got bullied and were incredibly naïve. When they scored, who could really see a way back?

I saw Jack Hunt ( and Windass) watching from the stand I was in. You have to question Moore’s selection yesterday. I still think we have the best squad in the league but Moore’s best spell with us was when the team picked itself because of injuries.

I love this club, I so ******** want us to go up and still think we can but we have too many bad days in us for me to seriously think we can win or do enough in the next five games to go up.

The last week has been typical Wednesday, the highs and lows, the hope that kills yer, but I’m still in, keep the faith and we can still do it. WAWAW but FFS Wednesday 😬🙄😎

Our players are among the best League 1 has to offer. As a squad, they can run with the best of them and have proven, over and over, they can beat the top teams. I'll argue that goal that wasn't a goal affected the psyche of the team as the second half was noticeably different than the first half. More than one manager has suggested we don't bring a killer instinct. We must not settle for anything less than 3 points against Fleetwood on Tuesday. I hope the squad comes out fighting mad and keep the foot on the accelerator until those 3 points are secured. UTO

I think its small margins to be honest. MK we got on the end of 2 corners, scored 2 in 20 mins. MK were a much better footballing side than Wycombe and I was nervous watching us against them.

Wycombe on the other hand, we had 5/6 first half corners got on the end of one (disallowed) didn't score, made one defensive error and lost while the whole time I genuinely thought we were the better team.

The point I'm making is I don't think we were that bad against Wycombe or that good against MK.

Absolutely correct.  We have not managed to dominate any of the physical teams in this league, all season.  I can't believe the coaches haven't sorted out the approach and tactics to compete in these kind of games.

Playing against mk to playing against Wycombe totally different games we couldn't overcome the physicality of Wycombe
