Think we only need to draw if I’ve read the table correctly

Not sure how you work that out Sefton. We would end up with 83 points assuming we beat Portsmouth, and it’s quite possible  that so will Sunderland,Plymouth and Wycombe, hence my comment re GD.
If  Sunderland avoid defeat toRotherham on Tuesday,  MK will still go into the final day with a chance of automatic, ensuring they will give 100% at Plymouth.

We need to beat Fleetwood, there’s no doubt about that. Otherwise the last game will be even more nerve wracking than it already will be.

Was referring just to Tuesday, if we draw we are back in. I think it’s hugely in our favour  that last game of the season is at home.

Keep the faith, up the owls.

100% disagree.

Tactics spot on today and deserved to win, only a couple of poor calls from the ref cost us.

Wycombe have been for side in division over past 10 games and been bullying teams especially at home.

We stood up to them, cut off there threat in vokes, scored a perfectly good goal.  What you can't control is the poor officiating and bit of bad luck.

But we lost..

He has wasted so many set pieces this season you have to wonder whether Moore seems unwilling to let others have the responsibility because he doesn't want to upset Bannan. At least we have a new penalty taker TBF.

Bannan is in charge..you dont see that..?

In general I think you’re right.

Shodipo was bizarre though and Byers must feel incredibly harshly treated.

The problem is, we shouldn’t be in this position in the first place.

Bruce would have been autos....easy..

DM always more concerned with the opposition. This was the case in the first third of the season when we dropped lots of points through negative tactics.

We should be picking our BEST team,a s you say, and let the opposition worry about us. H

DM clueless,

The squad we have should be autos....imo

Wycombe were awful..we should have pissed it..

Anyway, if you can't beat Fleetwood (relegation scrap) and Portsmouth (nothing to play for), then you don't deserve to be in the play offs and there is a fair chance you would have come up short had you got in them.

George Hirst is absolutely desperate to spoil our party next weekend…he will be at 110% on Saturday

Grateful he’s not very good then.

Fleetwood haven’t won a home game since January ffs. If we can’t go and get a result there, we've no right to think we deserve promotion.

Exactly.

It really is that simple.

No excuses. This is the much vaunted game in hand and it is against a team right near the bottom of the table who haven't won in donkeys.

If you can't beat them, then they should be left on the flipping North West Coast and made to walk back to S6.

Spot on.

2 games left and they are the much preferred teams you’d want to play. If we can’t get good points return from them, then we don’t deserve it.

Bet Ainsworth is delighted tonite his plan worked a treat.

Closely mark Bannan so that he drops deep and is ineffective.

Long balls to Vokes with support strikers running looking for the flick on. Dunkley wins about a dozen of these, the first one Vokes  wins their players have gambled again, our defenders haven't tracked them and they score.
