There is a temptation to start NML instead of Hunt and have him cut in and cause Lewingtons geriatric legs some issues. But I’m not one to drop players undeservedly either and NML is a huge threat off the bench.

That said. I have a feeling he’s gonna start Patto up top tonight anyway and we might even see Iorfa in for Hutch who I believe limped through part of that Bolton game?

Anyway. Regardless. We totally have enough to beat MK. We have enough on paper to beat anyone in this league really. We just need to get over whatever mentality issue that stops us getting results on the road.

For some reason, in recent years, a huge away following typically means a bit of a let down. I said the same on Saturday. I really hope it isn’t an omen.

Id settle for a point (as long as we go onto beat Crewe and also take at least a point at Wycombe)

If I remember rightly @GermanBird your record on OMDT's is Played 1, Won 1.

I did call for you to replace @Lord Snooty but you declined.

Anyway well done for stepping up to the plate (no idea why that's said) again. An excellent offering. Hopefully your unbeaten run will continue. Come on Wednesday. Let's put on a performance in front of the cameras

I’m not too worried about this game, even if we lose we still have more than enough to carry us through

I don’t think NML will start upfront, as MK usually leave space infront v behind. I think we’ll see Paterson and Gregory upfront as we aim to play higher up the pitch and apply pressure

The chart thread led me to predict a score draw vs Bolton, and the same thread leads me to predict a narrow Wednesday win.

1-2

There are days I want us to win a lot and then there are days like today where I really really really want us to win. 5k in the away end and a game that would send a message out to the other playoff contenders if we were to win. I still think this side has something in reserve and we’ve yet to see them really hit their stride.
man for man we are by far the better side in my opinion but it’s putting it together we struggle with.

3 0 wednesday with the away end going mental. Please …

I’m pretty chilled about tonight’s game. It’s just a bog standard ‘must win’ fixture like we seem to have every week. I’m saving my energy for the ‘must win six pointer’ coming up against Wycombe next Saturday.

No clue what tonight’s result will be. But as it’s on Sky I imagine 0-0 would be about right.

“Step up to the plate” ... thinks it refers to a baseball hitter “stepping up to the plate” to face the pitcher??

Good morning and good vibes to all of you! 💙

I don‘t have the eloquence of @Lord Snooty nor the football expertise of Sheff Cam,  but I‘ve got lots of positive energy, which I am sending out right now.🌞

That's all I can do as Lord Snooty is celebrating his godson's wedding at a remote country estate ( Best wishes to the newly wed couple 🍾) and Sheff Cam is still recovering from a nasty infection (Get well soon @Sheff Cam)

After the unfortunate draw against Bolton and some unkind league results yesterday, we have to fight our way back into the playoff spots.

Tonight should see 2 decent teams trying to play football.

I'm hoping it will be a nice change from watching us to struggle to break down the dreaded 'low block' as seems to be the case most weeks.

Could go either way but I think a draw is the most likely outcome and that would be a reasonable result for us.
