scram
No it doesn't Strange that many fans don't seem to get it though Also I think the Dyche sacking was a bit mysterious - the timing of it... Makes me think this wasn't just about results but something else had gone off behind the scenes
Ever the pessimist
Interview on 5live yesterday with a Burnley fan, she said the rest of football were more surprised / angry than Burnley fans themselves are over Dyche being fired.
Kopparberg
It’s one thing sacking a manager, but they’ve been built in the image of Dyche… and he had the youth team playing the same way etc I believe… he’s a guy you associate with being a key figure there. Let’s hope it’s with creeping over the line this season for them.
Southie_Owl
I expect QPR, and Boro if Wilder leaves will be calling Dyche pretty soon.

fudge27
He'll wait it out til next season, and get a job at an underperforming PL team, predicting someone like Fulham, Brentford, maybe Everton could persuade him if they drop/stay up and get off to a stinker under frank
Beighton Owl 87
Tony Mowbray is leaving Blackburn at the end of the season. Could you imagine if dyche turned up there

Kopparberg
For Burnley’s second goal against Watford they seemed to have lots of players in the box, pushing for the winner. They went for it.

Skyline
Vincent Kompany appointed manager of Burnley. Thoughts? Disaster? Or genius move?

The owners will want an instant return to the Premier league and think abilities name gives them a good chance. I'm not sure Kompany will have the resources he needs nor will he be given the time he needs. Seems an odd choice to me. No experience of the lower leagues at all. sheffield_dave
Kompany seems a smart bloke - although that might just be a lazy assumption based on the sheer size of his f*cking head. Could go either way.
matthefish2002
Has Company been appointed because of his coaching abilities and record or because he was a big name player?
