Burnley sack manager

Recommended Posts

No it doesn't

Strange that many fans don't seem to get it though

Also I think the Dyche sacking was a bit mysterious - the timing of it...

Makes me think this wasn't just about results but something else had gone off behind the scenes

It’s one thing sacking a manager, but they’ve been built in the image of Dyche… and he had the youth team playing the same way etc I believe… he’s a guy you associate with being a key figure there.

Let’s hope it’s with creeping over the line this season for them.

Vincent Kompany appointed manager of Burnley.

Thoughts?

Disaster? Or genius move?

The owners will want an instant return to the Premier league and think abilities name gives them a good chance.

I'm not sure Kompany will have the resources he needs nor will he be given the time he needs.

Seems an odd choice to me. No experience of the lower leagues at all.

Has Company been appointed because of his coaching abilities and record or because he was a big name player?

You always the feeling if they go on sticky run Company will think sod this for a game of soldiers I dont need hassle of Rotherham away on a Tuesday night in November and be off by 'mutual consent'.

Kompany seems a smart bloke - although that might just be a lazy assumption based on the sheer size of his f*cking head. Could go either way.

Puts himself in shop window for a PL job if he does well.

Plus he can probably live in Manchester again.
