Sensible Soccer
Hope we can get him signed up (assuming we want to keep him) players are always happy where they are until something else comes along that would make them ‘more happy’

room0035
It all kind of depend though whether we have learnt anything from the massive failing with youth players over the last 5 years. offer him a multi year deal, with options to extend if he continues his progression or offer him a 1 year scholarship deal/ 'best deal for his age' excuse he wont be here next season. Show we value youth, by showing them the same loyalty we expect of good young players coming through. 2

Jack of Clubs
Hopefully he’ll sty so that we can at least get a fee for him eventually. He’s only got to look at the likes of Urhoghide and Shaw to see it’s not always wise to follow the money early on.
NeonLeon
If we stay in League One he could easily be 4th or 5th choice next season you’d imagine.

All those players we lost to the Premier er Championship, ooh league One, if only we had kept them could have sold them for billions. sethman75
Is he getting any game time in the 1st team? Even 10 mins here and there would be something for him
Bluesteel.
The best thing we can do and seem to be doing, is show him a clear route through to the first team in the short term. He’s already been training with them and playing u23 football at 16. If he moved elsewhere he’s just another prospect on a decent wage but might not play first team football for some time and need various loans. Whereas playing where he’s settled and with family around might actually accelerate his career or potential earnings in the medium term as anyone buying him (assuming he’s successful) would be buying him as a first team player on bigger wages.
