Kopparberg
Preferably the Glazers to sell For the Glazers to stop taking so much money from the club Sell shares to fans to remove the debt Get a new stadium Get a new training ground Put in £100-£150 a year on the footballing side
SiJ
It's all very idealistic, but it won't happen anytime soon imo. Man U is a cash cow to the Glazers and not much else. As long as United maintain a relative level of success (get in the Champions League most seasons), then the Glazers will imo keep doing what they've been doing now for nearly 20 or so years. It was only because they inherited such a top class manager in Fergie that they were able to get away with it for the first decade. After he went, their lack of knowledge/caring about the football side was exposed.

Kopparberg
Spurs got a new stadium. I’ve heard both GN and Scholes say Old Trafford needs knocking down.

Is old Trafford that bad these days? I can’t say I know anything about structural engineering etc but would it not be cheaper for them to just upgrade it? GNev referenced people saying that it just needed upgrading - he said that’s not right and that Man U need a new stadium (and should pay £60m a year or so, to a sponsor over 20 years or so, to get one)
owls maniac
Sadly the point to resist the Glazers was in 2004. They’re now a vampire squid that won’t be removed until they’ve sucked the body dry.

matthefish2002
Its all relative but does make me smile when Man U fans are saying this is the worst they have ever been in they lifetime when they are 4th. They were spoiled a bit under Ferguson. I don't like idea of Manchester United moving though as Old Trafford is such an iconic football ground. Probably the most famous place in the country outside London.
HighworthOwl
I don't have any particular dislike of United but I do love seeing one of the money clubs "struggle". Would much prefer it to be Liverpool but sadly that wont happen anytime soon. The doom and gloom makes me laugh. I suppose its all relative and a generation of United fans have only known success but welcome to the real world supporting a football club. And most clubs poor period is a lot worse than 7th in the top division.

Quickly Kevin
F*ck em. They enjoyed massive success for years and now the trophies have dried up. They are falling behind and their summer signings havent made an impact while the supply teacher is limping along. Wheras Liverpool again have receuited well with their signings improving the team. It will be funny seeing Ronaldo strop off in the summer as well. United massively helped commercialise the game and sell it worldwide. That led to teams like Chelsea and City attracting rich owners ans challenging them And they have no strategy to combat it. I can't see them challenging any time soon.
Django
Apart from PSG there can’t be a club in the world who’ve spent as much as Man Utd in the past 7 years Their problem is that they keep hiring useless managers

Consistently made poor appointments. Mourinho was the best one but he was on his decline by the time he arrived in Manchester. Moyes job was too big for him, Van Gaal dinosaur, Solksjaer incredibly under qualified and Ragnick just a silly appointment.
