Wasted chances and good opportunities

Was just thinking of Bannan knocks that snap shot in from near penalty spot or Paterson nods home were home and hosed. Upsetting to concede another set piece, you’d think with three centerbacks with Paterson and Gregory on the pitch you’d expect us to be clearing it comfortably.

We waste so many openings, if we were clinical we would batter everyone in this league.

Shooting practice this week in training please Darren!

If I was NML I would be embarrassed watching the highlights. His first miss was absolutely shocking. Can’t afford players like that. Got to score that 10 times out of 10.

Bannan’s miss near the end was also awful.

They only looked dangerous from our mistakes and  set pieces.

Shooting practice or maybe select the natural strikers from the start instead of persisting with a winger up front at a time of the season we can ill-afford such experiments

Room for both.

Agree that NML hasn’t worked upfront.

I feel sorry for him.

He was destroying teams from wide. Through the middle he’s a fish out of water.

They were there for the taking in that first half an hour. A professional, clinical and ruthless outfit wouldn't have had the game sewn up.

Bolton were absolutely atrocious but then could have easily gone in 1-0 up with yet another free head before the break

1 billion percent this. It’s doing my fûcking head in! Play him out wide or have him on the bench! FFS

Even Kamberi would have scored today with the number of first half chances we had!

NML is quick and strong and can cross. And can even score now and again. But striker? No.
No no no no no.

I know it's a ridiculous suggestion but maybe just maybe play a natural striker upfront instead of a winger

Moore really is thick as mince meat

It's like he does these experiments because he thinks hes as clever as pep and klopp

I don't mind experiments, some pay off and some don't. But it's the persistence he has with these ideas when they clearly do not work is infuriating.

Pre season is the time to experiment not 40 games into the season

If you have a winger whose never played a game upfront, dont start playing them upfront

Especially when you have a natural striker sat on the bench

Its completely stupid and decisions like this is why we are holding onto the playoff spot for our lives
