SallyCinnamon
I remember a few months ago people on here were saying we’d signed poorly again. Has that opinion changed in the last couple of months? I think the likes of Byers, Hunt, Gregory, Johnson, Mendez-Laing, Storey have all proved to be excellent bits of business on free transfers (recognise Storey is a loan). Berahino starting to show a bit too. Gibson and Dean have been very good but plagued with injury most of the time. The disappointing ones perhaps Sow and Kamberi - but you need squad players and both have had their moments this season. Shodipo and Brown the only ones for me who haven’t shown anything. Again the former spent a long time injured. Overall considering the massive overhaul in players needed I think we did pretty well with literally nothing to spend. Well done Darren Moore.

I'll take that and raise you with Lewis Wang. Edited April 4, 2022 by helmut_rooster

BridportOwl
% wise, and considering the market we could trade in, deffo more hits than misses.
CircleSeven
I think we’ve done pretty flippin well in terms of signings. Some have taken a while to settle and some have been injured more often than optimal but for an outlay of zero pounds in terms of fees I think we’ve ended up with a better squad than I thought we’d have. I still have hopes that Adeniran will come good as well. If we don’t go up we will certainly lose a few important players (Luongo for example) but assuming DM doesn’t get fired if we don’t go up I am confident we can get in a few more decent players. In the next window we can actually spend fees. I really hope we don’t spend much but definitely getting a good striker for this level might take a few quid. Gregory has been terrific for a free but is no spring chicken!
DeBilde'sTea
Take a look at most sides and they make duff signings. Considering our restrictions we've done pretty well. Gregory, Storey, Byers, Jonson, BPF some standouts in there.
