Popular Post areNOTwhatTHEYseem
At 1-1 on 82 minutes, a goal for Wimbledon would have been a real dagger to the heart of our promotion ambitions. When they broke three vs one, things were looking dicey to say the least... Gregory will get a lot of praise for the winning goal, and understandably so, but that save from Peacock-Farrell was just as vital in helping us to secure the three points today. It was hardly the most deadly shot in the world, but plenty of 'keepers would have gone to ground there. Fair play to Peacock-Farrell for keeping his nerve, standing his ground, and forcing the striker to try and pick a spot. It could prove to be a massive moment in our season. 37 4
Nero
Good save. If Assam moves it slightly right with his first touch he has a better angle but he move it central, opens himself out and cant hit it anywhere but right giving BPF a better chance. Jeez can we have a positive thread about a player without having a pop at a keeper who has barely played all season? 7

CircleSeven
It was a terrific save and I’m glad I’ve got to see it now because at the time I couldn’t bear to watch! Assam’s touch wasn’t great but BPF got himself exactly in the right place. He’s a good keeper IMO.

TrickyTrev
They were 3 on 1 in that breakaway attack. How they didn’t score is beyond me.
Owls2k
Good positioning, didn't panic, good save. BPF is a calming influence, seems a quiet guy and unlike most keepers not a complete nutter. It looks like he's enjoying his football.

Did really well to stay big and not commit. That said, it was a pretty awful finish also.

Can't see from that angle exactly where you were, but if you weren't on the field of play, you can't be offside.
Inspector Lestrade
Can you imagine the meltdown on here if one of our players missed that opportunity... Should have scored.
