He was only offside if Gregory touched the ball, surely? Which would mean the officials admitted the Wimbledon player took Gregory out without getting the ball, in which case it's an obvious penalty, the only other option was the defender fairly won the ball so hunt wouldn't be offside.

There we’re 6 substitutions in the second half, which (I stand to be corrected) at 30 seconds per sub would equal 3 added minutes.

Its therefore mind boggling that the referee thought that the ball was out of play for just one minute.

Not that it mattered in the end, it’s just an absolute joke.

The sooner official time keepers are brought in the sooner this scourge on the game is irradiated

Unfortunately when a team is fighting for their status in the league, it's just what happens. I absolutely hate it, can't imagine anybody else is that keen, but it is absolutely par for the course now. We'd most certainly do the same if we were in the same position.

Not trying to justify it, but find reason in it. It's a grubby tactic that shows a certain amount of disrespect to paying fans who want to be entertained and lowers the standard of the game through poor sportsmanship. Just part of the game now, unfortunately.

Yeah.

I do get why the coaching staff think it might work - coming to Hillsborough (THE home fortress in the country) and look to break the flow etc..

But if the boot was on the on the other foot, as a Wimbledon fan, I'd be thinking we'd have been better off going down fighting for the 3 points than cheating our way to 1.

Just desserts served up today.

Remember in the last minute after Gregory had scored the winner, we had a goalkick and B.P.F. gave them a taste of their own medicine. One of their players run to put the ball on the spot for us to take the goal kick, so B.P.F. took all the time in the world, placing the ball in the opposite corner then changing his mind. KARMA !!

Tremendous when their striker rushed for the ball and put it down for Peacock Farrell in the 94th

Sweet, sweet justice

That was hilarious. And Peacock Farrell simply took twice as long with the kick. Great stuff

Big shout out for the ball boy in front of the Kop delaying giving the ball back...

If I owned a football club, any manager who sends a team out at the outset to draw a game wouldn't be in my employment for long.

It reminded me of Fletch taking the mick against Charlton all those years ago.
