SWFC Traineeships 16-24 Year Olds

Alex here from the SWFC Employability Team.

 

We have an amazing partnership with Balfour Beatty offering construction Traineeships to young owls aged 16-24.

 

Open days Tuesday 5th and Tuesday 12th April at Hillsborough Stadium (main entrance) at 11am

 

What is included in the Traineeship?

-13 Week course

-Placement / qualification blended learning

-Qualifications relevant to the vocational area (health and safety, CSCS Card, Customer Service)

-Functional skills maths/English qualification

-Tailored work placement based on IAG Assessment

-SWFC Internal placements AND external partnership placements available

-Expert career advice

-Post-programme career mentoring

 

In addition to the construction Traineeship, we have a number of internal Traineeship roles at the club (catering, customer service etc) that really help young people get their first employment opportunities.

 

Our previous courses have been incredible in getting young people into work. We helped over 50 young owls secure their first step on the employment ladder last year and if you could spread the word on here and refer anyone who may be suitable, do get in touch.
