Favourite Goals

At Hillsborough last night watching the match with those horrible blue nets got me thinking today about my favourite goals in football over the years.

Used to love the old Stamford Bridge ones like big subbuteo nets and the old Hampden Park with the square posts and the net that went back yards.

They're pretty much all the same now you use to be able to tell which ground it was just by the goals

Old Wembley, with the netting way that seemed to be way behind the goal line.

 

Could've been my memory playing tricks but I think it was the Dell at Southampton that was the other way, with the netting seeming to be really close to the line, or it could just have been the proximity to the terrace that gave that illusion.
