room0035 Posted February 26, 2022 Share Posted February 26, 2022 If they are still using the stand excuse then put a big mirror on the North to reflect the sun, job sorted. Funny how from 1995 to 2015 that the stand built for Euro 96, did not affect the pitch at all, it must be the coastal erosion thats causing it to suddenly have an effect after nearly 26 years of no effect. People seem to keep forgetting that it is the same technology installed by the same company that has installed Desso pitches up and down the land... to my knowledge none look on even the same planet as worn out as ours, and in fact look pristine all year round. People only need to look back at the two seasons following its installation itself to see demonstrable evidence that a Desso pitch offers a largely pristine playing surface at Hillsborough. Oh I thought this was going to be a referrence to Wilko's team with Bannister and Varadi. Oh happy days and with a resplendent PRESTO stand. It doesn't need painting over.
