Does The England #1 Need To Play For A Bigger Club

He is probably OK where he is..would you pick him over the current first choice goalkeepers for the top 6 clubs?

Close between him and Ramsdale. He'd definitely be a good signing for West Ham with Fabianski getting on a bit, but generally, he wouldn't improve the top 6 in my opinion.

Pickford is one of the players who plays better for England then his club.

They have been few and far between since I can remember

That's because at Everton he's undroppable, whereas he has to compete with the likes of Ramsdale for his place in the England team. Stops him getting complacent.

He does now, who's been seriously pushing him for the past 5 years?

Pope is probably the only real competition and he plays for a club even lower down the pecking order.

It's between Pickford and Ramsdale at the moment, Henderson has stalled his career by sitting on Man Utds bench, and Pope has dropped off the radar. There's no others coming through.

Pickford is in a unique position for England, where he can play with more confidence and assurance.

He has better defenders around him than at Everton,  with excellent defensive midfielders also ready to step in and receive his distribution.

Also, he probably faces weaker strikers on international duty than he does week in , week out in the premier league, which will also 8ncrease his confidence .

It annoys me when a player plays well, doesn't get a call up.... Moves to a Big 6....sits on the beach...boom....called up!!

(Can't remember any specific examples though)

Grealish to some extent.

Seems to be around the starting XI more and I can't fathom what about his club form (or international form) merits it.

Ramsdale should be number 1

Disagree.

As said before JP is one of a very few players who plays better for England then his club.

Additionally he's never let England down over a number of years. Ramsdale been good for 6 months for Arsenal and been made of butter for the 3 years before in relegated teams

Wildsmith might play better for England doesn't mean he should start ahead of someone who is better than him.
