Id say injuries are more likely to cost us

If the injuries are down to the pitch and training facilities then yes he is indirectly as there are only two “grounds people “ for both Hillsborough and Middlewoid

Looking at some of the injuries though

Dean & TJJ hardly played any football so always susceptible to injury

Dunkley suffered injury away at Sunderland

Gregory & Fizz are impact injuries

Windass suffered his initial injury in a pre season friendly away from home

With the million pound pitch being in such a sorry state due to lack of investment.

floodlight bulbs being removed so we just scrape through the correct level of luminousness (is that a word).

im sure there are other examples of frugality that affect the day to day running of the club

will it cost us promotion

discuss

No. Little he can do now with the pitch, maybe he can out some bulbs in, but that won't affect our results. As others have said, he's messed up on a grand scale but nothing to talk about here. If he doesn't try to get the pitch sorted in the summer then it's a different matter.

I gave up on promotion, on Feb 1st

For whatever reason, we didn't / couldn't bring in a goalscorer on deadline day. Its obvious we desperately need one

I'm relaxed about the rest of the season. We might make the play offs, but our chance conversation rate, makes promotion a long shot imo

Isn’t John-Jules supposed to be a striker? I know he’s now injured for the rest of the season but we did at least try to cover the forward position.

Where is the basis for this accusation of penny pinching?

Seems to be a recurring theme Andy, previously you made a thread accusing the club of not paying wages again based on nothing? Then there was another similarly themed thread to have a go at Chansiri with no foundation? Don't get it. Yeah we all know he's fukkcked up loads of stuff, but stirring up crap with little to no foundation, what's the point?

next evening kick off. Or maybe even this Saturday. Have a look at the floodlights. See how many are switched on.

oh. And we still have the “not paying players” sword of Damocles hanging over us.

but do we know fully why the pitch is such a mess after such a large investment? has the drainage now failed? if so why? even the worst groundsman in the world couldn't get the pitch to be so bad .i mean upto 9 days ago it hardly rained for 8 weeks.  but just throwing cheap shots at chansiri all the time isnt the answer , what a mess he caused in 2016 which we have been paying for since is the past , im sure he wont take such stupid advise again and put the club at risk . darren moore has been backed as well as any club in the division ,we have shifted out 95% of the high earners and its now much easier than it has been for 6 years to create a new team .  end of day we are in league 1 with a massive hit money wise of upto 10 million a season , we cant afford to shell out another million on a pitch and loads on training facilities unless we cut back on the playing staff.  16 new players wages have been funded , if your now happy with that have a chat with the sunderland supporters who smell blood at the present time with there owners ,or the reading fans or the derby fans . nobody is arguing with the mess chansiri created but seriously wanting a new owner be very wary that there is a lot worse out there ,, all full of promises and spend and do nothing.

Yes we are all aware of that.

But there's been no indication that players haven't been paid right? Despite your sh!t stirring thread in November.
