Take him to one further afield and it will be fine, if it's relatively local (Yorkshire, North Mids, Lancs) it can have that kind of vibe. Worst I've experienced is Notts County years ago. 

 

But further afield you'll be fine.

I see we have a increased allocation for Gillingham they must like pretty colours too. 
 

Or maybe it was because the smoke bombs (non burning and not flares) are blue and they play in blue. 
 

At least the increase in tickets will stop some worrying on that front.

I agree wholeheartedly that fans should not throw flares but i just can't get worked up about it.   They do look good.

 

Please don't throw flares.
