Deliciously difficult choice.

I went for Johnson. He was poor first half, but unplayable for the final 30 minutes.

Created all 3 goals and pinpoint crosses to Berahino and Paterson could/should have been 5.

He has a wand of a left foot.

Gone for Berahino, was so refreshing to finally see someone be able to control those balls fizzed into the forwards from the midfield. And both his goal and his flick down the line for Johnson to set up the 3rd were pure class. Let's hope he can use this to build a bit of confidence and actually find some form, god knows we need a striker in form right now...

MOTM Berahino! Can't believe I'm saying that, but wow, what a performance from him!!!! He was immense from the moment he came on, fit, sharp, hungry, outmuscling centre backs twice his size, brilliant control and finish for his goal and fantastic flick to create the breakaway for our third, well done Saido!!!!!!

Peacock-Farrell: 7.5 - Great go-go-gadget armed for that save in the second half.

Brennan: 6 - Did okay.

Storey: 7.5 - Dominant in the air.

Palmer: 6.5 - No drama, just Palmer.

Hunt: 6.5 - Always available.

Johnson: 8 - Struggled first half, quality second half.

Luongo: 6.5 - Bit under par today.

Byers: 6 - Messed up for the penalty.

Bannan: 7.5 - Up and down game. A few over-ambitious passes, but moments of real quality. Hit the bar from the corner, had a penalty saved and eventually scored with a cool finish.

Kamberi: 4 - Touch like an elephant.

Sow: 5 - Struggled to get involved.

Paterson: 8 - Drunk uncle turned up to the party at just the right time.

Berahino: 8.5 - MoM. Clinical finish and gets extra 0.5 for that flick down the line for the third.

Gibson: 8 - Created the second goal.

Turgid rubbish for the first 65 minutes, tempo was too slow and it was like watching us at the start of the season. But credit the players for keeping going and finding the clinical finishing at the end. We looked a lot fitter than Doncaster, even with our injury depleted squad, and just trampled over them in the end. Credit Moore for finding three great subs on a bench that didn't inspire much optimism. Hopefully those three will play with a spring in their step now and show us what they are capable of.
