DB2002
Patto is a very important part of this squad. And he is a better footballer than many give him credit for. Fantastic effort from him tonight. Palmer probably having the best spell of his career. Really pleased for the two of them. 1
SiJ
Honestly, I think Liam's future now is as one of those wide CBs in a three. It really seems to suit him.

Let's call a spade a spade. In fact both strikers were poor. The rest of the side battled away and kept the shape well. Byers was MOM. Will be Kamberi and MDL upfront Sunday.

I’d definitely start him up front again on Sunday. Defnitely Jim! 2 Owlstalk Shop

Looking at it objectively and where we can and will improve it's in the striking positions. I don't doubt CP attitude and effort but the actual application is poor 'when upfront'. markg
Palmer just does whatever he is asked to do. No fuss or drama. Proper pro

The guy rams his socks off, he nearly scored a sensational goal as well. His booking was a disgraceful decision.

Why I find it frustrating when he gets such ott criticism. He's far from perfect and I think we all know that, but he's a very useful person to have in any squad. A lad who has come through the youth system, has played under several different manager, made 300 odd appearances and has done so in numerous positions. Not everyone can be a "baller" or some sort of superstar. You need a few steady eddies and willing water carriers in a squad/team for it to be successful and that it was Liam does for us.

If anyone watches that 90 mins back, they will see Patterson was woeful. I really like him as a player just upfront he does not understand the position and his best attributes are wasted. He hit a good opportunity miles wide. That is not nearly scoring in my book. He won't start Sunday upfront. I actually am starting to see Moore see these little things, Don't mind Moore playing him these last two games, starting to think the manager is starting to get things right. I'm not here to defend Callum. He can do that himself. He ran their back lads ragged tonight. Pushing ,pulling. Talking in their ears all time. Same way that kamberi kept pulling CH wide or deep to make space. Both will start Sunday.

He will play Mendez upfront Sunday and I suspect with Kamberi.

He had a lot of decisions go against him too, no wonder he got so frustrated. He played a great game of rugby tonight, but yes total effort and ref clearly against him. Totally agree with you. He's never injured (touch wood) and rarely has a bad game. He should get way more praise than he does. Cost us nothing, owes us nothing, just a great pro and a very good player. As you say, numerous managers keep picking him too.
