Supposedly one of the fittest lads at club and was never injured, never afraid to put in and tackle, too. I can't say I was ever excited to see him on the team sheet. But I was never worried when he played. I was always worried when he played.
Tamworthowl
Darren Purse When we signed him, I thought he was an awful signing, well past his best and he’d be another aging player using Wednesday for a pension boost. I couldn’t fathom why most fans thought “great signing”. After a few games, most fans changed their mind and said “poor player” etc whereas I thought has was actually a lot better than I expected and suffered because he was forever covering for the disaster that was Michael Morrison.

folger
Darren Potter. Absolute embarrassment towards the end with corner gate and his partnership with JOC, but during his loan and in the earlyish days looked like our Gerrard. Ill never forget Charlton at home with him and Mick Gray dominating.

I think in League One we are certainly one step closer to his level which I’d suggest is League Two. Good attitude and professional but technically limited and almost always playing catch-up tactically IMO. All that being said, we’ve had much worse and I agree he’d offer some cover for Luongo in a position we’ve neglected. A situation that could cost us enormously if he is out again.

Underwhelming compared to what we saw from him at Rotherham, yes. But he still did a decent enough job in a slightly deeper role than he's used to.

CalmJimmers
Rudi and Nuhiu were the first that came to my mind. Dunno if people slated them, but I really liked Ben Sahar and Bartosz Slusarski when they were here. Probably more than I should have because never heard of them again. He had several really great opportunities to score, anyone of those goes in and it changes everything. Would have liked him here still as he is a good player he just didn’t get that bit of luck you sometimes need. Just something here didn't sit well and he spiralled downwards. Could be a case of good player, wrong time.
