No! Easy ball! Haha The standard of football in this league is ******** poor. The players cannot stop a ball, pass a ball or shoot. Ipswich kept the ball well and played some nice triangles but can’t remember them threatening our goal once. We had the better chances. They are horrendous and that's in the league above, all Efl is much the same.. ie not very good in terms of quality but highly competitive. Generally I don't think the top end of League One and the bottom end of the Championship is much different in quality. Hence last year's promoted teams are in 14th, 18th and 22nd this year. Thinking back to the end of last season we had equally poor quality games at Hillsboro against Blackburn and Forest near the end and they are both in contention for promotion to the Premier League now. If there was one word you would use to describe us right now it would be stuttering. we certainly have the potential to fire up, but we just can’t seem to find that extra gear. Nah, but when he was taking that corner in the first half even the stationary ball would barely stay still. So when he dropped his shoulder and stepped inside the defender the moving ball seemed to accelerate away from his touch with the wind. Hence his shot skewed miles wide. I found myself say after about 65 mins, ‘There’s some good football being played in this league. Sorry but I think it is a great deal more sophisticated than it was last time we were here. I have seen Wednesday play in all three divisions, I Europe and against Pele’ s Santos (2-4).
