Eaton_Swfc
Best atmosphere on T1 in the North for a long while. Actually enjoyed it for once.
Barnsleyowl1996
Decent atmosphere would love to get Hillsborough fuller and really make it difficult for other teams with the atmosphere, performances like yesterday will give us something to get behind
Kopparberg
Actually enjoyed the game and everyone seemed happy before kick off… I thought it’d be drab after 2 defeats, needing Covid passes and being against Plymouth As it happens it was great ! That’s what we want from this team I think the main thing was scoring first and being bang at it through the game.
Popular Post latemodelchild
Always said it, but all the crowd at S6 want to see is commitment and the right attitude. As soon as the players show that it feeds into the stands. We've had a few players in the past who put a shift in and were loved by the fans despite shortcomings in other areas. What we saw yesterday should show Darren and the team the way forward from here. 100% commitment leads to success more often than not. We could do with em realising. 10
4evaowl
We played well from start to finish, a real rarity, so hardly surprising the crowd were good.
Popular Post @owlstalk
Dont think the moaners had cleared off It was more that the team played so well they didn’t give people the chance to have a grumble 13 Owlstalk Shop
latemodelchild
Bloke who sits behind us that constantly moans, wanted Bannan to die and Palmer to leave, he wasn't there. Was lovely. 2

Beauchief Owl
There was much to like about the game, in particular that we didn't drop back after Plymouth scored on both occasions. Long may it continue.
areNOTwhatTHEYseem
There were still a fair few moaners around me. Peacock-Farrell was a 'f*cking idiot' for slicing a clearance according to one woman; Bannan 'needs to stop being a selfish tw*t and pass instead of shooting'; and when they scored their second, the whole team were a 'bunch of useless b*stards'.

matthefish2002
I think the team playing well created the good atmosphere rather than the other way round.

Honestly some people are just fully addicted to misery, negativity, pessimism, and getting a nark on. That lot probably tape Eastenders so they can ‘enjoy’ it twice.

I mean, I had a bit of a sigh and muttered 'bloody hell, Wednesday' to myself when their second went in, but some of the vitriol aimed at our players, even when they're performing well, is ridiculous at times.
Mr. Tom
Just now, areNOTwhatTHEYseem said: I mean, I had a bit of a sigh and muttered 'bloody hell, Wednesday' to myself when their second went in, but some of the vitriol aimed at our players, even when they're performing well, is ridiculous at times. Oh we all do that, of course - genuinely think for some folks though it must be a coping mechanism to come and get reyt angrymad for 90min once a week. Can’t help but wonder what they’re always so hopping mad about by the time they arrive though, it’s like they’re permanently wound to snapping point and just need to yell and point at summat for a bit to blow off some steam. (And trumps.)
Ellis Rimmer
I had a bloke behind me coaching Gregory like it was his Dad at junior level, I'm nowhere near the pitch and he's further back than me. Hilarious.
