Few years ago when the young one was at an age wanting autographs I took him round to wait for the players. I was amazed by how many blokes were there without kids. Some had proper autograph books with a different team on each page so they must travel the country trying to add signatures to their book, similar to the old panini stocker books... Unbelievable. This was in their recent League One era. After Wilder came in and they started winning again, he had to compete with more fans doing the same thing so wasn't able to talk to as many. This annoyed him so much he decided he hated Wilder and various United players, and even stopped going to games. He refused to watch them during their 2 seasons in the Premier League, and even extended his hatred to the National side as some of the offending players were in the squad.
