Chey Dunkley refused access to the game

There’s always one 🙄

To be fair there are strict rules in place regarding entry.

To us it's common sense but if the club break that rule there's likely to be repercussions.

It's a double-edged sword. Steward now looks a complete tw*t but at the end of the day, they're doing their job.

We both know that had they let him in, another fan nearby would've called them out on it if they'd been challenged themselves. People are like that.

It's a no-win situation.

They don't know who I am

How arrogant is that

Don't have a pass you don't get in

Regardless who you are

Well done stewards

I’m not sure what the rules are because it’s his place of work so would imagine spectator rules don’t apply.

He can’t be the only player we have who’s unvaccinated yet other players were there and playing.

Seems more like a mix up than anything as he should have checked what the situation was before attending

Na sorry not buying it

Clearly thought he was above the rules

The steward did their Job

Dunkley acted a moron as did the people defending him

What are the rules though. The players clearly don’t have to be vaccinated to attend as we know at least 25% of them aren’t. Most players not in the matchday squad are expected to attend the games still as well.

So did he need to do a lateral flow test? I thought the EFL had scrapped them on the day of the game. That would mean if he’d been on the bench he’d have been free to turn up and walk in.

Its confusing because he’s not an ordinary spectator

He’s jokingly said he can’t get in, he wasn’t angry, tweeted he hoped we win while he wasn’t there, the video is all I’ve seen, then someone replies with an over the top comment.

Jeez

People jumping the gun abit saying it’s because he didn’t have a Covid pass. If you listen to his Instagram story and read his tweets they didn’t recognise him. To the steward he could’ve just been some randomer trying to get into the exec boxes, Covid pass or not.

So do we know why he was refused entry then?

No but people are hammering him for not being vaccinated without actually knowing if he has been, or if that’s why he hasn’t been let in.

Wednesday fans in a nutshell.

Well get vaccinated then you muppet. Can't expect to have different rules to the rest of us.

He may well be vaccinated but didn’t think he’d need to prove it to get into his place of work. If he didn’t come prepared I doubt he’d get a good  enough mobile signal on his phone to get a pass outside the ground on match day.

Can’t fault the stewards though and if he is unvaccinated it’s a lesson learned for him.
