Takeover ??

Recommended Posts

Steven Bartlett.

This is the guy we need.

Media mogal who has oodles of dosh and wants a challenge.

Chansiri should go on Dragons Den and try to get £300m out of him. It would be fun to see DC squirm when the Dragons asked for his figures to date and future forecast.

The best question would be "How did you arrive at the valuation of £300m Mr Chansiri. :tango:

Why would a cash rich multi millionaire take out a £6m loan on an asset he valued at £60m if he was flowing in cash,

why would a multi millionaire not pay players risking a points deduction.

why would a multi millionaire risk alienating you remaining customers by asking for next season money 9 months early.

why would a multimillionaire, wait until the last day of the transfer window to buy players to save a few weeks wages when the team desperately need some centre backs now.

Because maybe, just maybe, he isn't a multimillionaire and he doesn't have a pot to ******** in.

Muti-millionaires don't become MMs by spending their own money ....they look for investors.  Once the investors see a problem they withdraw their finances.  I doubt very much Chansiri has used is "own" money.....or at least has been very stupid.

Just my opinion

Chansiri is skint.

hes spaffed his inheritance from TUF up the urinal.

he won’t budge until someone meets his asking price which is probably 10 times what it’s current value is.

Hes took out at least 1 loan against the stadium. He failed to repay last September. He’s hoping we get promoted to increase the cash situation for this season’s repayment

whilst ever hes at the helm we’re not going anywhere.

IF this is true then a fair price in my opinion including the ground ie lock stock and barrel inc players would be around (£65million  - £75million)

All this is taken into account that a massive upgrade is required on the stadium.

Ps The players would not account to much in the price.😉

Lets be honest knowing our luck.

Chansiri sells to new owners who also turn out to be useless.

We are stuck in another few years wanting a new owner.

The new owner turns out to be useless..

Repeat for eternity.

D'Chansiri     - new buyer with a new team of investors of Sheffield 40 50 60 70 80 90

All routed through a new Turkish company called paxo2022

Swfc as a business is worth £1. It looses £25m a season. Anyone taking over has to immediately underwrite that amount

The money Chansiri has sunk into the club underwriting the losses he won’t get back

The sale price of the ground was over inflated to try and circumnavigate FFP

Im sure any perspective buyer would simply get a independent validation and base their offer on that

Got to remember that Chansiri hasn’t actually paid any money for the ground. It was simply a smoke and mirrors accounting transfer

As a guide Sunderland were bought for £40m

Keeping my blue and white tinted spectacles on...

Without all the crap - we as a fanbase and a club are still the 'sleeping giant' we've been referred to for 20+ years outside the Premier League. When the goings good - we turn up and support, when it's bad (and it has been for a long time) - we've got a core of about 20k turning up week in week out, which is unbelivable really given the crap we've gone through.

Anybody with a decent bit of footballing brain could turn this club around - the back office, processes, training ground, first team and stadia - if they could pinch us for a cut price, then we're still an attractive club.

Agree with all that and would love someone with some sense to buy us. Issue is getting us for a cut price.

Let's hope someone out there sees the potential.

40m for Sunderland and newish ground, good fanbase. That sounds like a cracking deal, unless the liabilities were high.

I believe he’s taken the loans out against the stadium out of choice and that he’s abstaining spending his own money while he tries to sell the club. Mandaric did the same thing before he left

I really hope our next owners are football people, and have a plan how to develop a club like Brentford have done

Our fan's wont give them time to DEVELOPE the club.

It's win the 1st Div be in the Prem within 2 season, win the Boat race, and discover a cure for Cancer
