Kopparberg
Which is best ? Which has been the most used shape traditionally ?
Mr. Tom
It’ll always be the middle one for me, that was my era and it’s the one that stirs all the feeling for this ‘80s kid! Totally unique too, looks nowt like anyone else’s. I love it.
Mr. Tom
(Top one did get used in that era too, but IMO as a whole it’s a bit of a dog’s dinner with the smaller owl crammed in between various rings of text in different fonts...looks amateurish to me.)

Just the simplistic Owl from the top and middle badges with nothing else ala late 70’s early 80’s.

Mr Meadows
So simple isn’t it.. that’s all it’s needs, no daft shields etc we have a instantly recognisable logo right there. our current badge, bet most people wouldn’t know which team it is from first look

Unpopular opinion but Oldham’s new Owl badge is better than our current one?

areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Our traditional club badge is my favourite. The 70s stencil design looks very of its time to me.

Wasn't the reason we added a crest in the first place because we didn't own the copyright to this particular Owl on its own?
malcolm
Middle one for me ,without the shield or circle round it.Get it brought back, somehow I don’t think our chairman will listen.

Don't think the new one is better than our classic owl of the 80s + 90s - I love the brilliant simplicity of that design, that's what made it so great - but it's definitely a vast improvement for them. Their previous one was better suited to a can of super-strength lager IMO. I know lots of people enjoy our current one, but I can't shake the idea that it reminds me of a colouring competition off the back of a kids' menu in a motorway pub.
