All Saints School/Church Lyon's St/Sutherland Rd

That's my neck of the woods

I was born in this house on Grimesthorpe Road across from All Saints and behind what was Ellesmere Community centre, I believe the community centre is now a mosque, and the old house was demolished and replaced by a nursing home

I bought my first house on Nottingham St, which is a stones throw away from Burngreave cemmetary

When I moved in with the future wife, we lived on Kirton Rd, which is one of the side roads off Scott Rd.

There's a few coincidences in this thread

The All Saints/Burngreave thing

You studying pit disasters, I've worked down the pit

And the Tipping Point is the title of the next CD I'm going to buy, had the deluxe version on pre order since the day it was announced and it sold out in less than an hour, it must be very limited, it's got 3 bonus tracks on it.

My mum and dad got married in All Saints and my mum lived on Normanton Road/ Street, the Normanton pub is still at the bottom of what once was that Street. The house next door to my mums was bombed in the war and had to be flattened because it was unsafe and as I was about 7 at the time they were all knocked down I can just about remember the area.
