Wolves explain why Theo left SWFC

Recommended Posts

Clearly DM wanted to play 4-3-3, hence all the wide players he brought in for the wide attacking type roles, but that system wasn't working and he rightly changed it. TC was then required to play wing back, which can work when we are dominant, but invariably we often aren't and thus requires a player who can get up and down the pitch. That isn't something TC can do game in, game out, hence why DM didn't regularly pick him.

Pity for him and us as he was the main creative player we gave other than BB.

FFS he isnt, wasnt and was never going to be our asset.

The way people are reacting is as though we should have been building a team around him.

You missing the point an established premier league team has loaned has one of their young players for the season and because of the way he has been treated they have cut the loan short and sent him out on loan to another team in the same league.

the reason being we are not playing him in the correct position and affecting his development.

now think to yourself why don't we get any of our own good under 18 players that develop into first team players.

Do you ever what you post.

We started playing 4-3-3 a formation that needed 2 centre backs we did not lose or concede in the first 4 or 5 games.

We then got injuries to centre backs and change to a formation that needs 3 centre backs when we had on 1 or 2 fit ones. Instead of playing the same formation with a makeshift or youth centre back, we have 4 or 5 players out of position.

I don't think this is theo at fault the issue is the manager playing a formation and tactics with players he does not have.

No you are missing the point if we are not here to develop other peoples players. If he doesnt fit in the system we need then tough. We do not change our system so that we can develop someone else's player.

The manager bought in 13 players in the summer that were to play a 4-3-3 system, a month into the season after the window had shut he changed the system.

We don't play a 4-4-2 because Bannan cannot play that formation maybe we should get rid of him using your analogy.

As for the other people youth this is Darren Moore's doing to. We don't have any of our own players to develop because Darren does not give any of them a chance. Remember the summer - Hagan who we fought so hard to keep, Darren had given him 0 minutes before loaning him out so we could instead play Paterson, Berahino or Brown as attackers in front of him. Darren sent Hunt out on loan because he was down the pecking order behind Luongo, Bannan, Hutch, FDB and Dennis then sign Byers and Wing do we need 7 central midfielders.

We also have a young centre back called Brennan who instead of playing we sent out on loan then wasted money loan a crock from Everton, then played Palmer, Johnson and Paterson out of position instead of giving our own young players a chance.

I suggest the issue at this club is the manager not the players. Too many players out of position, too many signing that are not good enough and no emphasis on giving our own youth players a chance.

I'm sure Moore was trying to train him to be a full back for 3 months.

What was he thinking?!

Which makes you wonder why go for him in the first place.

Scatter gun approach for players ..hence we ended up with 500 wingers.

Imagine signing a player on loan from another club, not playing him as intended, despite struggling, and despite whenever he played he looked our best player.

To the point that not just the parent club but also the player himself wants to leave... to MK Dons.

Now imagine how other clubs will look at that example before considering whether to loan us any players.

Wow.

Wow.

This is it-we are stuffed in any January window loans, which we badly need.

We don’t have a system.

We have a right back and a left winger as part of a makeshift back 3.

We have a player like Callum Patterson who plays in 3 different positions in 3 different games.

The manager is a joke.

Yes, you do change your supposed system to suit the players that you have at your disposal.

We have now lost one of our best attacking threats, despite the fact that we’re still one of the lowest scorers in the league and we’re still out of the play off positions with over half of the season gone.

Happy days.

Absolutely nailed on there. Can you see any PL or Championship side loaning players to us given the Farce with Theo Corbeanu and his parent club?
