Manwë
Good video but it's all just what Wednesday fans do, find reasons and excuses for being poo, thus finding some way out to be too critical of our failings.  A football club without injuries or suspensions is not happening, it will never happen. So it's time to stop speaking of curses and start talking about staffing and management. We do have a huge financial advantage over our rivals, yet we are not using it.  When players are missing, why are their replacements so poor?  It seems we are just going to drift through the season waiting, waiting, waiting for Luongo and Windass to return, and then and only then should we have any chance of winning.   We've signed too many of the wrong players with the money we've had, we've relied on a handful of players who have track records of unreliability, and we have no Plan B when things are not 100% perfect.  There's no curse.  6
heppers
Self indulgent nonsense. Â We made poor decisions under Richards and paid the price. Â We had a new start under Manderic. Sadly he sold to an incompetent businessman who knows nothing about football. Â As fans we have been unlucky. As a club we have arguably been handed what we deserve for mismanagement.
Pastor Kidneys
Moore rarely puts the same side out twice even when he has the choice. Â He loves tinkering. Â No more excuses for this manager Mr Chansiri ... Fire him today.
Portia
Specifically this season the defence is poor in comparison to the rest of the team, especially without dunkley and iorfa. The poor defence forces our midfield to drop back and the attackers subsequently move into midfield to receive the ball. Whenever the team pushes forward it gets ripped apart on the counter, happens every match.
Charles Clegg
I think its' a bit of both. The situation is long-standing, over many years and many managers (was Stuart Gray blighted?.... I can't remember) The injuries seem to hit those whose presence is the most important to us too (cos they are more committed?) BUT If DM wasn't plagued by injuries it would give him any number of extra permutations for bizarre team selections/formations and the retention of the undeserving  Regretfully I don't think DM is the man for the job (but accept there may not be an alternative) Injuries: There's masses of data over many years which is available for analysis maybe by a small independent team: statistician, musculo-skeletal expert, human motion analysis expert  Maybe bring in experts to examine common denominators around failed decisions ( and the few successes) made by the board and Chairmen since the near success of 1966
Big Jack
Long over due for new training facilities, the current one is an embarrassment for a club of our size.
