Managers We Didn’t Get When They Were Available

Recommended Posts

The point is that at this level, with the kind of managers we’re likely to get, it’s a game of chance.

You can’t say it will work with someone else for definite, but you know for definite that it’s not working under Moore.

The managers mentioned above at least are just that, managers who’ve got years of experience and have achievements to their names, rather than an ex-player who’s being tried out in the hope he’ll achieve something.

Frankly, our current approach is like sh*tting in a bucket and hoping to win the lottery. It’s vain and futile.

True. Maybe we should act quicker in future (maybe now too?)

We let the decline really set in before doing anything.

Other teams (I’m thinking championship ones that didn’t come down with us) made changes and didn’t end up 8th in league one.

Until the fans realise we could get Jack Charlton,  Howard Wilkinson, Big Ron it wouldn't make no difference until they are allowed to manage/do there job without interference but with the appropriate support/ backing. Then this great club can never possibly hope to turnit around and create something that could be amazing.

It's criminal something so simple seems to be so far beyond our reach.

But it won't always be that way, it will happen but seems so far away at present

And so it goes on, we don"t get in the top six, so the manager has to go.  The fans won't tolerate anything less.

That's not a way to run a club.

Alas at our level it is.

Sure, there are quality managers who succeed in most places they go to, but they’ll not go to Hillsborough.

At our level it’s a process of trial and error until it finally clicks, as it did with Jonesy.

There’s nothing to indicate that Moore knows what he’s doing, or that he will ever have any success anywhere, frankly.

This side is good enough to get into the play-offs IMO, so for me we’re chucking the season away.

Again.

Who are these managers?

Chansiri would look at that list of names and still choose Garry Monk

Debatable but agree we’d be better off if Monk had remained in charge.

Jos, Monk, Pulis and Moore have all took the flak that should have been directed at Chansiri
