Thought you'd appreciate a couple of pics of the North West corner of Hillsborough

Cracking view from here too

Has anyone been up there/sat there for a game?

Once only. Euro 96 game Croatia v Denmark if memory serves correctly. 
Good seats, pretty central and remember being impressed by a very different view of Hillsborough.

Stood up there, Burnley in the Cup when Mcculloch got a hatrick with 40'000 in...got to the Kop it was full..ran around and got in up there..goood view

 

 

But its actually called the "Cheesy Wedge"

After my first couple of games at Hillsborough stood behind the LL goal, our group moved to “The Triangle” for a better view. Had a regular spot until we considered ourselves big enough to move to the kop.

Excellent view. And not as exposed to the elements as you might think. Kop was much colder.

Yeah and need help to place the game. It was a night match v Liverpool about 40 years ago so no seating. Wicked night, cold wet and windy (the weather not me!) so got proper togged up.  Got crammed in like sardines, wind blew over top of us, taking the rain away and got hotter and hotter as game went on till nearly passed out. Think we won or drew 2-2

I do think I've heard it called The Wedge though for sure

But what's the actual name for it (e.g. majority view)

Yea..originally they were "Pointing" seats..To join up wiv the "pointers" on the North...no good for watching the game

Me too, though I was in the lower half. Still a good view and close enough to see/hear the smaller contingent of Croatian supporters.

Used to stand on there quite regularly in the late 70,s , cracking view without all the injury prone surges !!

Stood there for the infamous 4-4 with man utd. Took a youngster and i guessed there would be trouble on't Kop.   My. my, was I right !!

I've always thought that the crows nest was little section on kop near North stand where Tango stands.

Stood there for many years as a kid, saw the famous 5-4 win against Man Utd from there, great memories.
