BBC News - Coldplay to stop making music as a band in 2025
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-59766719

Good or bad news?

For me, there was some good stuff among their first 3 or 4 albums but they've totally gone off the boil lately.

And Chris Martin does sing like he's had Omicron for the past 20 years or so.

If Coldplay stop making music, then who will Masterchef sample when they want to celebrate the fact that someone's souffle didn't collapse in the oven?

Who is going to step up and provide that soulless, generic, inspirational music?

Got an imagine of 'tears stream, down your face' playing as someone on bake off has forgot to put the oven on

Insipid band. Radio 2 luvies. Glad to see back of em.

Good summary, insipid is the perfect word to discribe them

Always makes me laugh when people describe them as a rock band
