Maddogbob
Is what it is, plenty of local non league football, if you want to go to a game.

alanharper
First home Boxing Day game in about 52 years and it gets called off, typical. We might get another one in 2048. 1 1

Good shout that. I'm of an age now where I'd reluctantly have given it a miss out of caution anyway even though a ST holder. Might look for a local non league game though. Depends on the situation with Wednesday and Sunderland at the time. Neither club could field a team for the boxing day fixture.

Not sure who's playing where but Hallam, Staveley, handsworth and Sheffield FC. All quite local for me. Stockbridge PS will have a game on I'm sure. Would have considered Ilkeston Town, but I definitely know they are away. Dronfield Town are having a free entry game over Xmas, however that's not on Boxing Day.

Staveley closest.

If you fancy a spicy one, Matlock Vs Buxton in the A6 derby.

areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Again, the least of our worries in the circumstances, but it means Luongo now misses Sunderland (A) and Shrewsbury (A) as things stand. Not ideal. Although the games after that are Plymouth (H), Oxford (A) and Ipswich (H), so I'm not sure what the best outcome would be on that score? Hirstyslaces
If there is a plus side to any of this, we MIGHT see one or two of our previously injured players returning to the squad after Christmas. But then again.........
