Bazza the pick for me, but fantastic save(s)from the penalty by BPF and Corbeanu led them a merry dance!

Josh Windass looked sharp when he came on.

Not really troubled in defence, if you exclude the dubious penalty.

Bannan or BPF. Shout out to Corbeanu because I love him. Looks such a batter option that Shodipo. Theo deserves a good run in the side now.

It was Bazza really but voted for BPF.

Simply because if he dives to either bottom corner, as keepers normally do, it's back to 1-1 and we normally fold.

Bpf 9 didn't face many shots but perfect display, anticipation, positioning, commanding, assured and possibly gained us 2 pts with double pen save like vs roth

Hunt 8 crossing has improved recently without getting anything, but finally got a very good deserved assist

Brennan 7 assured and good passing range, could probably do a job anchoring if ever needed

Palmer 7 used his pace well for covering

Johnson 7 his physical frailties as a makeshift cb weren't tested so his passing and forward runs stood out well

Theo 7 good solid game, a threat as ever but their rb had some pace to make it difficult, tired after 65-70 mins so took off 10min late

DB 7 goes missing at times but extra point for assist after good exchanges with bannan

Wing 6 disappointed to see him over windass but thankfully his best game bar the usual plentiful accurate backwards&sideways passing vs rare dodgy forward passing and sunday lg shooting, but covered good ground

Bannan 9* ran midfield, no misplaced short-medium passes & goal of season imo

Gregory 8 great finish, some nice layoffs and passes when deep

Pato 7 worked very hard so tired in last 10, good positions, hit post, switched to cm 3rd position in a week, very useful utility player

SB 2 Looked tired tracking back and on counter even as a fresh sub, need much better

They will be a lg2 side next season and there was a league between us and them, kids making obscene gestures unsupervised sums them up but soundly beat the rabble in front of us.

Performance possibly even better than wigan away albeit vs a poor side

I voted Lewis Wing instead of BB for a change.  He played without his concrete boots today.  Actually looked like he wanted to play.  Didn't realise he could run.   Well done BPF and the rest.

Palmer 9 superb at the heart of defence

Brennan 8.5 so assured

Johnson 8.5 excellent again. What a sweet left foot

 

Hunt 8.5 a revelation at WB. Constant threat and works his tripe off 

Fiz 6.5 frustrating. Under-cooked for a lad with such power and ability

Bannan 9.5 godlike today. Worked so hard 

Wing 6.5 worked very hard, tried, but not much attacking impact

Theo 8 love his directness. 

 

Paterson 7 workhorse. Not great

Gregory 8.5 super hold-up play. Lovely goal

 

Windass 7.5 livened us up. 

Shodipo 7 helped out well under pressure

 

 

All 13 did well. Excellent performance.

Only one player below average today, but Bannan was best player on show.

Bannan clearly MoM but voted BPF for the moment that made it into a comfortable afternoon instead of another tense one.

Back 3 looked really solid as a unit.

 

Can’t fault any of the players today, good away performance.

BPF for me, good penalty save but the follow up save was superb.

 

Bannan was on it. Magnificent display.

 

I though Johnson was excellent as was Brennan. Palmer very good

 

Wing, one of his better days but a 7, no more

 

FDB, I thought he was a passenger for much of the game, no lack of effort but he was just off the pace.

 

Hunt did well again.

 

Theo had his moments but he can be infuriating too. 3 times Johnson was waiting to thread the ball through on the inside of the defender for Theo to run on to but he just hung wide waiting for the ball to feet. If he'd gone for the inside of the defender ball he would have had the defence at his mercy. He just doesn't get it, he wants to tie the defender in knots which is great but it takes time, the ball inside can be devastating. So much potential though.

 

Paterson worked his nads off

 

Gregory was great as usual

 

Windass was a breath of fresh air, I just don't understand why he didn't start

 

Berahino, I so wanted him to come good but he's starting to get on my nerves now. He always does the wrong thing. About time to forget about him
