“We were very good and I had a couple of chances, while the keeper has made so many excellent saves.

“We passed the ball when we needed to and we fought when we needed to – on another day we’d have won that.

“There’s probably some added incentive for me to be playing Sheffield Wednesday, although most of that is hyped up by the media.

 

“I just go out there and try to do my job – whoever the opponents are. I was happy with how I played and thought we were excellent as a team.”

If Joe had been in goal, I wouldn't have been surprised if it had been 4-0 either.    Let's hope BPF plays like that between now and May.

Maybe 2 or 3 nil but they still couldn't score vs a back 3 that had no cb's consisting of a forward aka binman, a slow left midfielder and a fb!

He would have been very lucky to score that chance in the first half...He just closed his eyes, swung his leg at it and hoped for the best.  And the ball was running away from him.

the lad is on 10 grand a week due to a cushy deal between daddy and pearson . he will never be good enough . he is a disrespectful you know what ,sadly we are going to be seeing a lot more of him as he will be playing in the lower leagues where sadly we will be too for many years . he was diving all over the place last night trying to cheat a result for them ,if he does the same here when we play them i hope he has good ear plugs.

These days?  Like, there have never been chants before about players in the past.....?  He must be drinking as much as his Dad!

I'll be controversial and say I thought he looked ok and could become a player soon if he gets a proper run at it. Absolutely give him stick if he plays against us but I'm not bothered whether he does well or not and I have no animosity towards his Wednesday departure.
