I’m probably in the minority but I do. I think it’s going to be a big ask to get promoted this season but I think in time he’ll put in foundations that will serve us well in the future and ultimately he’ll build a side we’ll be proud of. I think he’s got a good reputation in the game and that will help us going forward but the big question is, will he get the time?

I think he will yeah!

We are In a great position currently and could push on in the new year too

heres hoping he mate!

Think this was from him getting in the refs ear asking one of our lads to be booked.

Just don’t think it was a clear and obvious dive. Went down easily but you see it every week. If it was Joe Bloggs going down like that there would not be a thread on it or any uproar. Fact.

That's quite true.

But if your girlfriend jilts you you don't wish her well.

It's called spite.

So, for that very reason, I hope all who desert us get impetigo down below.

Which is exactly the point I’m making. The thread is here because he left us 4 years ago and football fans can’t seem to get over it.

That’s the reason we now have a thread on him.

The exact reason.

And we now have people calling him all sorts for going down easily a couple of times - something you see EVERY week in football.

Does it matter?

Why do you care?

You said there would be no thread.

There are loads.

Suck it up.

Wtf you on about.

I said if he didn’t leave Wednesday there’d be no thread. He hardly caused us problems tonight - looked dangerous first 20 minutes and that’s about it. Hardly pulled out a Craig Bellamy or Robert Snodgrass special. His antics were very harmless and are being blown out of proportion because of who he is and what he did.

Simple. Not hard mate!

If your girlfriend jilts you it's an affront to your vanity.

And if we're honest, none of us give two about Hirst or any of the others who've quit.

What really nettles us is that it's a reminder of how much we've fallen.

When Man Utd wanted his father, we rejected the bid and kept hold of him.

It just shows what a stinking midden of a club we now are.

I’m making exactly the same point.

And you’ve spent the past 20 minutes finding old threads to try and prove a point which is completely irrelevant.

lol

You’ve definitely had a mare with this one.

Turns out there are other threads started for shithousing opposites

Not just because they’re called George Hirst
