DC and the Season Ticket Saga

Recommended Posts

Read the article now... got it now!

Get them to buy before January before may be no players coming in and

May be a points deduction on the  way.... so roll up roll up... while the championship is still at least a possibility....

I think we will be getting bad news after Christmas reading between the lines here.....

Errrr....

I noticed the same thing.

It looks to me like he had an idea in his head and despite the staff telling him it would alienate fans he ploughed ahead anyway. Well done to the staff who spoke truth to power, I didn't think they had it in them. I apologise.

As for DC, another f up to add to the list. How many more?

Why don't any of our supporters have the guts to protest against Chansiri...

Time and time again we get treated like this and yet we play f@@k on here (me definitely included) but nothing actually happens.

People complain, the army of happy clappers are put to work and that's it until the next thing....

Fear of him walking out and the club going under, I reckon

what people are missing is...That would be the quick way of doing what he already seems to doing, because this club is slowly crumbling

You don't sell the ground back to yourself, not matter how many espouse its his money and we only owe him

If he has the cash, where were the players wages, why haven't the refunds been settled, it points to stark LACK of cash, as does this bloody caper.

Wednesday go under if Chansiri walks?

Bloody ridiculous, might struggle for a bit, too big to disappear

Leeds

Palace (more than once)

Pompey

Leicester

'Boro

Bolton..etc etc etc

Careful what you wish for?...blllx

because he's taking the football equivalent out of a payday loan. It's nothing to do with loyalty.  Like another poster has said, what happens when it comes to next season when the well becomes dry? Asking for next years season tickets in September, so the "Loyal" fans get the best possible deal for the year after that? How anyone can defend this defies belief. Chansiri has lost the absolute plot.

In ten years time, chansiri trying to sell the club when asked about income and fanbase

"it's the loyalist of fan bases, we have 100 people who have all bought season tickets for the next 1000 years. This is like having 100000 fans. The bad customers are no longer here just the loyal ones"

"oh great so we have potentially income from 100k fans then?"

"oh no I spent that in 2024 we showed ambition unlike Harrogate who think playing in the champions league is success, they will never win it. I've signed Sam Hutchinson and Barry Bannan on 30 year contracts, that's ambition"

My honest advice to Chansiri is - 'Sell the sodding club that's proved a millstone around your neck, because, whatever you do, it will be unappreciated  by the so called 'loyal supporters' ,or, your intentions will be misinterpreted come what may. '

Just look back at the start of the season when it did appear to start getting his act together. He was quite rightly given credit where it was due

People aren’t misinterpreting his actions. He gets criticised when it last wrong and praise when it’s right. Unfortunately there is a lot more occasions when it’s wrong.

To be honest, the poo he’s got away with is staggering and hasn’t been criticised enough.

You know what would have been appreciated.

Acknowledge that the fans aren't your enemy, that our money does pay for something, that we aren't "bad customers", not b*llshitting in every interview he carries out, not attempting to divide the fan base, not selling our home, not putting up prices, not releasing tickets 9 months in advance, not charging 90 quid a shirt, having a proper footballing structure in place, not having fake sponsorship companies, not getting us a points deduction, not getting us relegated, not having a suspended points deduction, paying players on time, refunding fans in a timely manner, generally not being an utter thunder ******** of the highest order to a fan base who had sustainably supported this club for near 150 years. That would be appreciated

Just to be clear I obviously hope I'm paying an extra grand as we've smashed the league. This is what ******** is off, he's got fans by the goolies and he knows it the the conman

Only for so long.

There are people who used to go to matches previously who don't now. Every time he pulls one of these strokes a few more decide it's just not worth it while DC is here. Everytime we get a run of gutless performances a few think maybe this isn't enjoyable anymore, maybe next year I'll not bother.

We lose a few each time, not many but with the regularity these things happen it will mount up.

Obviously there is a hardcore who will always go

this is what I find so frustrating. I said on here yesterday I wasn't going to renew but I know deep down, it's not true. I love the club with all of my heart and many-many times I just bite the bullet. Its sickening how the club know this, so they can effectively pretty much get away with anything they want because they've effectively got me by the gonads. But it's the same at every club, they take fans and people for granted because they know when it's all said and done, we will still be here.

Yes, you are like many fans but there will come a point where each fan will reach his limit. The people you enjoy meeting at the matches will drop out one at a time until there's none left. The atmosphere will sour at games, prices will go up, etc etc etc

It's like the weather wearing away at a stone, it takes time but DC has a way of condensing time by the number of FUs that come one after the other in rapid succession. This season until now has been remarkably quiet on that front.

I suspect it was the calm before the storm. Just hope DC goes soon before too many give up.

Im in the same boat as you and think I’ll be in that boat for ever. Sadly though, there are people who got off at the last port who I thought would also be there for ever.

Loyalty doesn’t always last for ever.

Every single fan is still loyal you just can't keep expecting that loyalty to top common sense and or other reasoning. In my case I'm not going any more because I am loyal, I am using the only method I have left to force change so I can go back and enjoy it. I can't keep funding even in a small way a regime that is so damaging to the long term prospects of the club. Doesn't make me any more or less loyal it's because I love the club I'm doing it

Surely if a football club is ran to suit the needs of its most disadvantaged and least affluent fans, then everyone’s a winner?

Wrong.  Completely wrong.

For example: I’d pay much more to guarantee an away ticket but they sell out at a lower price.   So no, everyone doesn’t benefit

£90 quid for a shirt!! Christ I didnt realise they’d gone up that much! Even for the pink one?? I’m happy with my Buckta one from circa 1979-80 from one of those retro sites... £90 quid  though! That is extortionate
