This…. This…. And this!!!!!!!!

Stupid fans moaning at Chansiri charging high POTG prices, selling the stadium, having us placed under numerous embargo’s, giving us a points deduction, relegating us to League 1, not paying the players, trying to force fans to part with hundreds of pounds with a weeks notice on the build up to Christmas or having to pay higher prices at a later date.

Some people are only ever happy when they are moaning.:Chansiri:

Oh stop exaggerating he makes one or two mistakes and all of a sudden he's Genghis Khan

Its a complete arse of a decision.

No reason why they need to put prices up so quickly - especially at a time when there is no way of knowing whether we're more likely to be getting promotion or not. We're not even in the playoffs places for crying out loud.

We're just so bad at this as a club - shafting fans left right and centre on tickets, lack of refunds, kit and merchandise, matchday catering, sponsorship, corporate boxes, matchday facilities... and being sat in League 1 due to being financially inept with a mammoth wage bill in a stupidly underutilised stadium.

The next generation of Wednesday fans have nothing to latch onto, we're riding off distant memories and the management have absolutely zero clue what to do to attract people back.

i will be paying for my 3 next week , but dont agree that the week after they go up and week after again . money dont grow on trees and even if clubs didnt go bust last season a lot of clubs have kicked the can down the street and the bills now need paying . if you cant afford it now fair enough , if they want to charge say a tenner extra cant that be done in feb?  a lot of people bust themselves for xmas and clearly they wont have the money at this time.

People with money don't think about/care about those who might not

Channers won't understand that people have to budget - it won't be within his comprehension as he's not from the working classes of Sheffield

He'll just always smash these things out and fully expect people to just appear to drop the £££

Other Chairmen might hear the issues and not do this type of announcement/scheme because they'll understand the pressures on families who are budgeting, but ours seems to just disregard the opinions and thoughts of our fans (and most likely his staff too) and just steamroller his idea through and to hell with the consequences because there are none. He can literally do what he wants

Every time the fans succumb to the ideas he'll point to it as having worked and do it again and other stuff too

It's just how it is

Typical DC. We don’t hear from him for 7 months, then as soon as he comes back he causes a sh*tstorm

No chance am I renewing this early. Early bird should be from April onwards, any sooner is blatantly taking the p*ss

i think a lot more clubs will be doing an earlier season ticket sale , if not a lot of clubs might well fold. cash flow is so important

Which ones have announced so far mate?

no idea but not all clubs have owners what can keep paying 90% of the wages . even money spent in the shop a lot will be credit . its clear this early bird now is a cash flow thing , but why 3 different prices in the next  3 weeks? thats madness .

Ignored or listened and not done as told/advised?

Some will see this as unaffordable due to the close proximity to Christmas and some will see it as perfect timing for a present. You don't have to buy one before Christmas anyway, I'm sure it stretches until January and then you'll still be able to buy one right up to next season.

With regards to affordability a seat that cost me £455 three seasons ago now costs £365.

Chansiri has his faults but he can't be accused of driving fans away when statistics show an increase in active fans since his arrival. For example the last time we were in League one we got over 16K on a Saturday against MK Dons, this season we got over 18k against MK Dons on a Tuesday night.

How many POTG?

Yes and maybe April would be early.

We’ve been conditioned that February renewals is somehow normal. It really isn’t.

The worse part of this is that it’s announced with no notice. If you want to do this set out a timetable and let people plan.

It’s not fair to drop this on people with zero notice in December or otherwise and then increase the price.

Interesting to read the article on YorkshireLive

The fans who (perhaps understandably) can see no positives at S6 choose to overlook that “The Owls released their pricing structure for next season with a freeze on all prices, allowing fans to potentially watch Championship football at League One prices if they are promoted.” Which seems a fair deal …. ?

Also, when the article states, “Equally, the price gradually increases the later into the month that supporters purchase next year's ticket, it could’ve been written, the earlier that supporters purchase their tickets, the cheaper the price. Same outcome, different interpretation … ?

Sorry but I'm sick of this 'oooh just think if we got promoted everyone - it would be a bargain' kind of stuff

Same as the ten year season tickets and club 1867

I just want it to stop, and for us to have sensible management instead of front loading the club with upfront gamble type purchases with fake/false promises

Out of interest do you know what these prices are like compared to other championship and league one clubs at present ?
