Leicester were booed off at half time losing 1-0 to Chelsea too. Modern fans are ridiculous. Leicester were in the third a decade ago and were losing to the top of the table . Brighton are at their highest point ever and played superbly, just couldn't score.

Real Madrid fans boo when they draw a meaningless game in the champions League group stages.

Booing=Success

Don't pay any attention to EPL, on the face of it 8th sounds good, but in a league of just 6 teams, does anyone really care what position the others are in.

I say teams, it's a collection of 6 global brands and some others who exist to give them someone to play to entertain 12 years old and those buying merchandise from the other side of the world.

Back on point, if Brighton stay up, job done. It's all about the money, nobody really gives a throw about league position. If fans want excitement, they are in the wrong league, best they can hope for is watching pundits spunk themselves over possession stats.

That's exactly how Ashley looked at it at Newcastle, same with Norwich. Ashley was happy staying in the EPL, finishing 4th from bottom or above job done. Norwich are turning into a yo-yo team get promoted spend next to nothing on players, get relegated, collect parachute payments, get promoted, rinse and repeat.

Brighton are fantastic to watch - if they could put the ball in the onion bag then they would very easily be top half.

Potter is damn right to call them out. I’d happily watch it every week.

They are, if Glenn Murray was still there (in his prime) they'd be in the top four. They create lots of chances.

Brighton are a very good side to watch, they have a lot of good technical players in Bissouma, Cucarella, Gross, Lallana, Trossard etc etc and they do dominate a lot of games they play in, christ they took a point at Anfield about a month ago, they just lack that clinical edge and maybe need to aim higher than Maupay if they're really going to aim high. Loved Potter's comment about needing a history lesson of the football club, they don't know how good they have it there with him, sure he'll be the next manager to be given a chance at like Leicester, Everton, Spurs

There was a Spurs fan on the radio the other day complaining that they haven't won.anything for 13 years and it's difficult supporting them.

Try listening to Man United fans going on about their suffering or Liverpool fans claiming winning the league ended 30 years of suffering ( minus 2 Champions Leagues, UEFA Cup, Super Cup, FA Cup, few league cups, consistent top 4 finishes, having talents like Gerrard, Suarez, Torres, Alonso, Van Djik, Salah etc).

The experiences of these fans are so far removed from the likes of us (and almost all other fans). It might as well be a different sport.

You’re not being serious are you? Top four?

They’re 10th this season in the shots on/off target stats. Hardly ripping it up.
