I literally have no idea how long half time is supposed to be and probably wouldn't notice any difference if they changed it.

Perhaps Scram would know but I remember them talking about this on the radio a few years ago and the proposal was for 30 minutes. Ex players argued against it saying one of the reasons would be that it could be difficult for players to keep warm. Not sure why that would be a problem in these modern times.

It's not keeping environmentally warm - that's easy and has been since forever - it's keeping physiologically (and psychologically) "warm" - ie the body's preparedness 

 

30 minutes is way too long and injury risk profile will go through the roof

Thanks, Scram. Think that's what they were worried about, keeping muscles etc warm.
