Ahhh the games in the snow in the 70's and 80's - wonderful games!

Wycombe are long ball merchants too - I can see us playing Kamberi, Gregory and Paterson in the side to deal with it as well as the bad weather, it'll be scrap.

BPF

Brennan Dunkley Palmer

Hunt/Paterson Luongo Bannan Corbeanu

Kamberi Gregory

Wycombe launch it long some of the time and have the combination of pace and power up front. Their keeper Stockdale rarely fanny’s about with it at the back.

Our defenders need to concentrate all the time and particularly when Wycombe players are being treated for ‘injury’. They often spring fast attacking moves immediately after. They aren’t just a hoof ball team either.

At Hillsborough?  I knew we were skint but I didn't think it was that bad.

Anyone remember a match played on a snowy ice bound Hillsborough pitch when Dennis Leman used his low centre of gravity to waltz round the opposition  like Lionel Messi ?

It was an outstanding performance that he never quite matched again

I do. I think the cover of the programme for the next match featured him. Could it have been against York when they had the big Y on the front of their shirts?
