What assets do we have to strip?

A bit of land with a massive rusting stadium on it in a down-at-heel part of a post industrial northern city, that floods every few years?

I'm sure the property developers will be battering down his door.

He is putting money into the club rather than taking it out.

Money that he borrowed against the stadium he now owns, but sure.

Are you for real? Didn't he spend a fortune in his first two seasons. The stadium thing was an unsuccessful attempt to get around Fair play because he overspent with his own money. Don't you remember that bit? Yeah, but sure.

It’s funny isn’t it, the team finally look like it’s starting to turn a corner, 3 wins and a draw in the last 4. Then we get a poster stirring it about unpaid wages without any evidence or corroboration. The same post then starts on the Sheffield 3 loan, another poster starts this thread knowing it will set fan against fan.

A cynic might suggest the sleeper cells had been activated to try and derail any positivity that might begin to build.

If he did, we have less than nothing to show for it.

Rich idiots don't deserve credit for weeing away their inheritance, especially if they damage a 150-year-old community asset on the other side of the world in the process.

Why would anyone do that?

It is important to remember that any positive developments at the club in its quest to rebuild to the position it was in when Chansiri first took over is in spite of Chansiri, not because of him.

Wow - how paranoid can you get?

Absolute total paranoia right there

The truth is the club's been through a horror show in recent years, the chairman still owes thousands and thousands of pounds to our fans, and he's recently reappeared for the first time in a couple of years so obviously and clearly the conversation was gonna pop up again

Stop with the paranoia and the stirring mate - it's embarrassing to read

Was told last night Chansiri refused interviews with any press

I've no issues with this

It's the right move

Stay behind the scenes, improve the infrastructure of the club, and crack on

We don't need to see/hear from him

This season he's played it perfecly well so far and I hope he continues

I don't think this is happening, however certain posters simply hate Chansiri and no matter what he does, it will be treat with derision. Unfortunately his time here has been a failure - relatively speaking. However we have had more success in the past 6 than we did in the previous 15 and are in a far better position than we were 11 years ago when we were in court getting wound up. At the end of the day he is a human being a needs to be treat with respect. Things are turning around slowly as Mr Chansiri continues to bankroll us.

More absolute nonsense here

I do wish people would just stop with the over-dramatic emotional bullcrap

Facts are he's failed so far, he's done some terrible stuff, he's pumped millions in and spaffed it away, he still owes our fans thousands and thousands of pounds

BUT

If he pays our fans up what he owes them NOW, buys back our stadium, stops getting us into transfer embargoes, hearings, points deductions, relegations and stops having pops at our fanbase and becomes a professional, respectful, forward thinking progressive owner then everyone (EVERYONE) will be happy.

He's popped back up again in the first time in a couple of years so bound to be discussed and debated as a result

This season he's done exactly the right thing by keeping quiet, keeping out of the spotlight and long may that continue. We don't need or want any late night rants from him on the official website, or fans forums where he picks fights with people. We just want competent running of our club by someone who knows what they're doing or appoints people who do.

There's absolutely no need for all these made up conspiracy theories or overdramatic drama queen descriptions of the current situation

More absolute over-dramatic nonsense
Nobody is treating him with disrespect so let's not try bringing that into it either

Am fully expecting 'he's been subect to personal abuse' next ffs

Let's stick to actual facts

Let's not treat him as some kind of god or any different from any other businessman

Let's not be down on our knees doffing our caps

Let's just all get on as chairman and fanbase, be sound with each other, and crack on instead of the overdramatic nonsense some people are trying to wierdly force into this discussion

If there is any disrespect around, it’s promising to repay supporters their ST money from March 2020 and then doing it at a snail’s pace leaving those who, for one reason or another eg old age, illness or not wanting to watch League 1 football, no other option than the Small Claims Court.
