Owlabroad2001
I agree that the post is a bit daft, but calling someone a ‘bellend’ for it is completely out of order imho! Edited November 21, 2021 by Owlabroad2001

toooldforthis
Apparently Accrington's groundsman can slot in at Centre Back to get the balance back
Paul..
In the WTID preview podcast the Stanley fan specifically mentioned that the chairman had spent a lot of money on the pitch so it's nice it's getting noticed!

OhForAnotherShez
With the height of their stands, available sunlight will assist - or does it just rain over there? However well done Accrington!
shandypants
Two or three posters in this thread calling out the OP for finding the negative when those cheeky monkeys are not completely innocent of said crime themselves. I don’t advocate what the OP states but I wouldn’t get all “holier than thou” about it because I’ve done the same on occasions.
CircleSeven
What actually made me smile is I’d commented on how good the pitch was at the start of the game. The commentary on ifollow also mentioned it. Then DM mentioned it. So it was genuinely worthy of comment and the rain on the pitch helped us with our passing game significantly in the first half. Credit to Accrington for getting a really professional set up. All the pre-season talk was about how dire it is in L1 against ‘Pub Sides’ but these teams are well organised and professional and have actually given me an appreciation for football again. It’s not all about chasing Premier League millions. It’s about being the best you can be for your fans and community.
