Popular Post areNOTwhatTHEYseem
It was great to see Luongo back in the team again today, doing what he does best. For anyone who doubted his importance to our squad, just take a look at the tackles made per game by our central midfielders: Luongo: 6.5 Bannan: 2 Adeniran: 1.8 Wing: 1.6 Dele-Bashiru: 1.3 Byers: 1 He could be absolutely massive for us if he can remain fit from now on. Fingers crossed, eh? 31 2
BRADDO
Yep, him and Windass could be huge for us going forwards.

A great player but an injury crock for us, please do not offer him a new deal because we need players for 40+ games a season not barely 20.

CircleSeven
If Luongo stays fit we go up. If he doesn’t we don’t. He’s a good Championship player never mind L1. Pray for his continued health and well-being! 7
davey_wells
His absence along with Fletcher's was always our downfall in past seasons. We just don't have a replacement - and he works in that midfield with Bannan really well. FDB adds something different too. It's a really decent combo.
SwellOwl
Brings balance to the team, he just needs a break and not pick up another injury.
meggoisgod
He's a good player defensively and offensively...more effective than bannan 5
fudge27
Needs to be managed like hutch. Rather have him play 2 in 3 games and be rested where possible in games then have him play 4 in a row then be out for 3 months as per
Jim
As one or two already have said he’ll be the difference between a successful season or not.
Avon barksdale
Very good player at this level. What does Moore do Tuesday play him or keep for Saturday ??
NorthernOwl
He really does make a huge difference - such a shame he can't be relied upon to stay fit.

Groundhopping Owl
Think we might have found our first choice midfield today, the three of them seem to tick off pretty much every attribute you’d want in a midfield between them. Tough on Byers and particularly Adeniran but Dennis will learn so much from the way Luongo plays.
Popular Post Lord Snooty
Takes good positions forwards and backwards. Intercepts. Wins it. First pass is always forward. Also calm. I cannot emphasise enough how nice it is to see a player who looks calm on the ball
McRightSide
Absolutely zero chance we’d have gone down last season if Luongo had played 30+ games
