1.Upside down

2. 10 yards behind the ball

3. Near the refreshment kiosk

4.With one arm behind his back

5.With his head down

6.Running sideways like a crab

7.Shuffling along the ground on his backside

8.Holding his ankle rolling on the floor

9.Arms outstretched towards the referee

10.Bent down tying his boot laces

He is a very versatile player for us.

Brilliant.

Absolute joke of a player, brings nothing.

Can’t win headers

Cant win tackles

Can’t win 50/50s

slow as a cart horse

2 stone overweight

But successful managers keep picking him, one of the reasons we won’t go up.

Yes, successful managers. He must bring something to the party.

For a professional footballer Patersons lack of footballing ability is astonishing. Is he as bad as anything we have had over the years.

I’d rather he played than having supporters like you. Shambles of a thread.

Absolutely not. Just another scapegoat. He doesn’t finish consistently well enough. He wouldn’t be in my starting eleven but he has the nouse and determination to keep getting into goal scoring positions. He gives 100% every game. He can play several positions and he never lets us down.
Butterfield, Jones, Abdi, Bothroyd, Izzy Brown, Purse we’re a disgrace. Paterson head and shoulders above them and their like.

He’s an enigma. Every now and then he does something that makes him look like R9 Ronaldo in his prime and I think wow how did he do that, but then 70% of the time I’m scratching my head thinking how has he played premier league football?

Do you mean Ronaldo the one legged tightrope walker?

He's technically pretty poor, but his efforts are great, which brings up team morale. I think he will lose his place once Windass gets starting games again.

No I mean the Brazilian phenomenon. That’s how crazy Paterson is. He reminds me of both the best striker to ever play the game and then in the same breath looks like a bin man, who won a raffle to play for his favourite team.

He's got something about him. He grafts, he fights for the ball in difficult situations and has a strange way of popping up now and again to score. On the other hand when he's poor he looks dreadful. I just don't think he's an attacker, certainly not a CB. Moore needs to stick him in his best position if he's going to play him
