Musn't Grumble Posted November 15, 2021 Share Posted November 15, 2021 Many years ago, I was speaking with an old chap from the Merchant Navy. He was on boats sailing the hazardous supply routes across the North Atlantic where much shipping was lost to the U-boats. I thanked him for his service and, rather surprisingly, he replied that no one had ever said that to him. So I make the small gesture of thanking every serviceman and servicewoman I meet. matthefish2002 Posted November 15, 2021 Share Posted November 15, 2021 I didn't mind at all and it was moving minutes silence but wondered why we had a minutes silence on Saturday after also having a minutes silence v Plymouth last Sunday.
