Ron springer. Never saw him play but my dad says he was brilliant.

Nillson-class

Viv Anderson. Arrived late in his career. Was still excellent.

Des Walker. First few seasons was Mr reliable. Never injured and lightning quick.

Mel Sterland. I know he was a right back. Left back would not have suited his zico runs. Had to have him in the team though.

Eric Cantona. I was at the arena. Does that count. Francis biggest mistake.

Sheridan. Read the game so we'll. Always made right decisions.

Chris waddle. No explanation needed.

Carlton Palmer. Terrific service to swfc. Always 110%. Can't remember a bad game from him.

Mark Chamberlain. So tricky. Lightning quick. Unfortunate with injury. His son has carried on his mantle.

Paulo Dicanio. The most skillful naturally talented dribbler I ever seen for any team.

David hirst. Power finishing work rate and goals. A complete centre forward.

Subs

Nigel Worthington.

Nigel Pearson

Lee Chapman

Trevor Francis

That would have been some team. Not read any one else's post. Sure I probably forgot 1 or 2 who would make the team.

Always feel sorry for Sterland in these things. He was absolutely superb and a true club legend, but then along came Roland Nilsson to take his place in everybody's all time best XIs

Harsh on Ian Fleming.  Not even in top 20 worst forwards in my time.
