Some poor souls reverse their entire philosophy for the future of our club based on the effects of a couple of shandies. There was sediment forming. I also diluted it with dribble.

McRightSide
Never forget he is in a back 3 with Palmer and Johnson He blocked a shot in the first half - have a look when the highlights are out - Palmer and Johnson just freeze…Dunkley throws himself infront of it and blocks it
ruscol85
I’ve been his biggest critic for a while now but I have to hold my hands up and say he was quality tonight. Long may it continue

Yes, and this, definitely. so obvious that he is more than good enough for tris level, he does the basics very well.

Long may it continue I think he has been very good most of this season at the basics of defending. If we want to play out from the back then he is no good for that but there aren’t many better at this level at what he does

He's a head and hoof it defender. You won't beat him physically but don't ask him to play football, just let him defend!!! He's showing himself to be a very effective defender at the moment all power to him.
SiJ
He's pretty much the type of player that Moore was...which makes it all the more mystifying that we wanted him to be playing like Virgil Van Dijk.

Asking him to play the ball out from the back, isn't his fault. He is not going to learn how to do it at the age of 29. Tackle, block, stick your head on it, lump it down the field. Stick to these and he will do ok. Was better than ok tonight Edited November 2, 2021 by DobbinTheDonkey
kristmace
Outstanding tonight. Won everything in the air. With Palmer and Johnson pushing up at times he was literally a one man defence.
adamwestsleftear
is s great leader and actually organised the crap out of that defense today .. we need those strong characters at the back
4evaowl
Good tonight as he played central and we didn’t bugger about at the back, which he’s not good at. Doing basic defending is what he did at Wigan. Best performance for us by miles tonight.
Guest
I’ve slated him a few times recently Credit where it’s due though, thought tonight he was absolutely solid and put a captains performance in without the armband , he’s obviously a leader and it’s the likes of him we need to step up and show there experience , and tonight he definitely did Should take the armband for a few games if Bannan is out
Jim
He’s a proven player at this level. Play to his strengths and there won’t be too many defenders around better than him. All this slagging Moore’s been getting yet 15 goals conceded and 3 defeats in 16 games isn’t too bad.

fatzooma
Think back to when he first signed...He was talking so positive and struck me as the next captain and leader..then we found out we’d signed a crock. If he can stay fit he’ll be the first name on the team sheet
