Salmonbones
I think the problem is that Patterson is the only person we have who is good on getting on the end of these. He can't be in two places at once!
Jwowl
I’d settle for a throw that went to our own player - honestly, our throw ins feel like a set piece for the opposite team… 7
alan48
We play statues at throw ins so whether ours or the opposites , they get the ball .

Kopparberg
We don’t know what we are as a team…. When was the last time we played well for more than 35 mins ?

Freshfish
All the time ... though to be honest short throw ins caused some problems too ..like the problems at kick off .... the problems of nobody has a clue ...and we don't work on them in training while we're still 'gelling'... Kopparberg
I don’t think we’re allowed to put our opponents under too much pressure… Just watched the highlights of the Brentford v Leicester game - even Brentford tried a long throw… at this point I’m like ‘fizz it’ do whatever you want… Wednesday are just tedious at this point. Holmowl
Doesn’t suit our possession-based attacking football? Though you could argue nether does throwing it short and losing possession immediately, which is the one we’ve perfected in training.

I’m sure someone else’s memory will be better than mine and will be able to say who it was against. I miss a Patto long throw to be honest. They weren’t spectacularly successful but they were always a bit of fun.
Mike Hunt
I said a couple of weeks ago in this league instead of all the wide signings we could have done with a huge centre forward and a commanding centre half This is the pub league not strictly come dancing and Patterson flinging bombs in would be affective 4

What was the first thing we noticed about Chris Brunt ? Everyone went 'WOW' when he took his first throw in. It's not always productive but creates panic at the back for the opposites.
Everywhere & nowhere
Isn’t it something other players could learn? Surely Patterson doesn’t have some superpower that no other elite athlete players in our squad could do with practice?
Ronio
Pato's long throws aren't the best imo, they are similar to Bannan's corners. We need long throws thrown in with pace. I think I saw Dunkley with a better long throw.
