What’s with the white shorts and socks?

Of course it effects the game - in a tight situation where the ball is on the ground then all the ref sees around the ball is black socks and black shorts

Goes tumbling over a gangly outstretched leg. 

Referee only sees the sock of the blockading leg. 

Same colour socks

Who was it?

Defender fouling?

Team mate in accidental collison?
