I’m sure Robins would be delighted to leave Coventry 4th place in the Championship to come here… the rest of them are very average managers, just like the one we’ve got

If I were Robins, I wouldn't leave Coventry either.  He's done a fantastic job there.  Still, stranger things have happened.

Who would you rather have?

Ryan Lowe if we can get him. After that, I’ve no idea really… maybe it’s time for that random foreign fella @i used to be sc_owl always gets put on the bookies list

Info from my contacts in Romania is that Laszlo Balint is monitoring the situation with great interest.

I'd be content with Ryan Lowe, should he ever manage here.  Although he's not had any promotions above League Two.

Don't really see how Lowe or a random foreigner is a better candidate than an Alex Neil, etc, given that Neil's been promoted as a manager in the Championship, and he's available.

Bit random but Paul Tisdale had Exeter and MK Dons playing decent football and got promotions with both I think.

If you want someone who knows the league inside out them Simon Grayson wouldn't be the worst choice. 4 promotions out of this league with 4 different clubs.

Jesus. Haven’t you learned anything from our previous 4 or 5 managers?

Alex Neil is a good shout. Did very well at Norwich and Preston.

I think he had one good season at Norwich and did OK-ish for a couple of seasons at Preston until the wheels fell off.

Trouble is we just wouldn't give him time. A couple of defeats on the trot and half the fans would demand his immediate dismissal.

I think Lowe is destined for big things but agree it would be somewhat risky, if we could even get him. Neil is a fair shout, can’t remember much about his teams other than being total shíthouses

I think Roy Keane.

We need a bit of an edge & he might provide it.

He played against us enough times in the top flight to know there is no way Wednesday should settle for being a middling second division club.

Also as an ex Man Utd Captain DC has probably heard of him & might even listen to him.
